A milestone!
Since today, 17 december 2010, more than 500 versions have been registered at the popcorn-song.com site! Last year, I was hoping to get to 400 this year. But as you might have noticed, 2010 turned out to be a great year for Popcorn. Early this year a double LP came out with 39 versions (and not to mention a great Popcorn party!), big names like Muse and the Muppets released their version and thanks to Spotify, I had access to a great amount of unknown versions. And the list is still growing! I already found some new versions which I will save for the first update next year.

Messerchups play Popcorn live
Saw the Messerchups last week after the premiere of the movie I’m in (Meating Penny, by the way, it’s on IMDB 
). They played at the Halloween party in my hometown.
They signed my Popcorn single holder afterwards. End of this month, I’ll try to ask Jean Michel Jarre to sign it too, he’s going to play in the Netherlands.

A blog added to popcorn-song.com
A blog? Is the site going web2.0, ready for the year 2000? Apparently! I will update the blog on an irregular basis, everything Popcorn related. Since the news section of the site is related to the site-updates, this blog will deal with small findings and sightings. And you can also post comments. Have fun!
